Me and my family went to the store today and I am very grateful with the assistance we got (I apologize but we didn't get a name). We asked about tire tube for the bike we bought last summer from there while we were there shopping for other items. We knew it was long over passed the exchange dates but we asked anyway to purchase. We got that tube to fix the kids bike tires and we did not expect to get it free. Thank you guys! .

We always go to Toys R Us when purchasing Christmas gifts for our Rec Assoc. They will provide you with an associate who will bring you directly to what you are searching for. They have a lot of knowledge regarding the most requested or popular toys of the year. Today Jamie in Thunder Bay was a huge help! Everyone is so friendly. Great experience
I was very pleased today with the high level of service and how attentive the staff were to customer needs. I called the store directly because an in-stock item I wanted to get wasn't able to be purchased online. I asked if I could get it curbside pick up and they said they could put it aside, but I would have to come in to pay now that the store was open. The associate asked if I would still prefer to get it curbside and then offered a workaround, where I could purchase it using a gift card, so I wouldn't need to come inside. This is what I ended up doing. What impressed me was being able to come up with a solution to make it work for all. It would have been so easy and simple to just say, sorry nothing can be done. But to go the extra step and problem solve to make a customer satisfied, made it extra special. I usually have a good experience shopping at the Thunder Bay Toys R Us. The staff are friendly and helpful. But today, I left an even happier customer from this experience. And I'm glad, as my daughters and partner loved the item I purchased for them. (It was a child's picnic table.) Thanks Toys R Us!
During the pandemic, the staff were very helpful in finding what I needed from the store for curb side pick up. I highly recommend this store!
The management and staff of the Thunder Bay location have done a fantastic job adapting to our new 'normal'. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff when we came in, who thoroughly explained the new shopping experience. The cashier was very happy and seemed to genuinely enjoy her job. The directional markings on the floor are bright, fun and easy to follow- which isn't the case at other retailers. The store seems clean and organised, making it a safer shopping experience.
